Hollywood news and updates tease that Ryan Gosling revealed the reason why he accepted “The Gray Man” and his upcoming movie “Barbie.”
Ryan Gosling has been in several successful films, just like “Blade Runner,” “La La Land,” and the iconic romantic film, “The Notebook.” He recently starred in the recent thriller and action-filled movie directed by the Russo Brothers, “The Gray Man,” which is all about an unidentified top asset of the CIA, who unveils the secrets of the agency, and triggers a global hunt by assassins set loose by his ex-colleague.
Last 2011, Gosling met his long-time partner, Eva Mendes, in the movie set of “The Place Beyond the Pines,” where they played a couple with an infant son. In 2014, they welcomed their first bundle of joy, Esmeralda, and their second child, Amada, in 2016.
Ryan Gosling – Shares Some Fatherhood Stories
In his recent interview with Heat Magazine, the 41-year-old star accepted his role in the Netflix hit movie “The Gray Man” because he wanted to spend time with his children while working. “I’m like a dad first, and part of the reason for doing the film was this opportunity for us to go to these interesting places and be there with my kids,” Gosling uttered.
His daughters, Esmeralda and Amada, were also introduced to his job as an actor because of his upcoming movie “Barbie.” Though they didn’t understand why he chose the role of Ken, the father-of-two told them that Ken’s story must be told. “Although they can’t for the life of them understand why I want to play Ken… because nobody plays Ken! That’s why we must tell his story,” he said.

Ryan Gosling – Wants To Start A ‘Ken-ergy Movement’
During the premiere of his movie “The Gray Man,” Ryan Gosling expressed his joy about making the film, especially the intense action sequences that he found so “overwhelming and insane.” Following the success of the action-filled movie, the actor is up for the role of Ken in the movie, “Barbie,” in which he will play the opposite of Margot Robbie, who will portray the role of the iconic doll.
“I’ve waited my whole life to look like this,” he said referring to his bleached hair. “I hope this starts a Ken-ergy movement. The Ken-ergy is going to be alive and well,” Gosling told Vanity Fair.
