Sister Wives patriarch Kody Brown just learned how one of his daughters feels about him. And that daughter, Gwendlyn Brown, reacted to the pilot episode of the show in her own YouTube video. But at 21, Kody’s daughter doesn’t seem to think much of him.
Find out why Gwendlyn called her father “useless and a “massive misogynist.” And learn what she revealed about his manipulative behaviors. Get all the details below.
Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown’s A ‘Useless Misogynist’
Gwendlyn Brown, 21, recently viewed the pilot episode of Sister Wives. And so she decided to react in a YouTube video. But the young reality TV star didn’t even try to downplay her real feelings about her father Kody Brown. And she challenged the Sister Wives patriarch’s behavior. The clip showed Meri dishing on the plural family via People.
And Meri explained that she viewed other wives as helpful. But then Gwendlyn reacted, “Cause dads are useless and they can’t take care of the children.” And the 21-year-old also reflected on the differences between her mother Christine Brown and Kody’s second wife Janelle. “My mom was more of the mother mom, you know, stereotypical mother roles,” said Gwendlyn. “And Janelle was more of the father mom, with stereotypical father roles.”
But followers of the young woman know that she has sounded off on her father before. For instance, Gwendlyn called Kody a “massive misogynist” in another video. And she added, “I’m just glad it’s not something I inherited because that would suck.” However, she noted that “the way he was raised made it difficult for him to get out of those ideas.”
But Kody’s daughter doesn’t see upbringing as “an excuse. You can get out of the kind of thoughts that you think,” she added. And Gwendlyn opined that her father does only what benefits him. “Dad’s opinions and thoughts tend to benefit him, I think, so that’s why I assume he chooses to think that way,” she summed up.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown Deceived Meri Brown, Says His Daughter
But one part of the pilot episode for Sister Wives did shock Gwendlyn. And that involved Kody confessing that he didn’t show much courage during his marriage to Christine. As a result, the Sister Wives patriarch admitted that he should have opened up to his now-ex wife.
But the 21-year-old didn’t approve that comment either. And in response to Kody boasting that at least he “didn’t quit” the marriage, Gwendlyn slammed her father as a coward. “I think it’s more cowardly to be in a relationship where you don’t love somebody than it is to leave instead of experiencing heartbreak,” she said. And the young reality TV star described Kody as having “a lot of double standards” in his relationships.
Gwendlyn also attacked Kody’s behavior toward Meri. And she believes the Sister Wives patriarch manipulated his ex-wife. Kody just led on Meri when Meri clung to the platonic marriage hoping to reconcile, according to Gwendlyn. And she views the situation as a sad one.
“It is so unfortunate to see my dad going off on how he and Meri basically have this done relationship,” she said. “[Meri] doesn’t know that. They haven’t had a conversation about it. And I think that’s what’s so important about what my mom did with him, because she said, ‘We are done.’ She told him to his face that they were over and Kody hasn’t done anything,” added Gwendlyn.
