Yes, a movie of his got delayed and he was rushed to the hospital, but imagination may have gone wild in suggesting that Jamie Foxx is anything but healing. In fact, according to his daughter, the star has recovered enough to even play pickle ball. So, nothing to see here.
What Ignited Mass Hysteria About Jamie Foxx’s Health?
Jamie Foxx is a beloved actor, who is known for his roles in the musical “Annie” and the action thriller “Robinhood,” among others. So, when news got out that he suffered a “stroke” and was rushed to the hospital, there was a lot of confusion.
The confusion was somehow heightened when Mike Tyson revealed that even though he has no idea what the 55-year-old “Day Shift” star really suffers from, he heard it was “stroke.” People started to believe he might have been hit hard when Kevin Hart publicly said his prayers for Foxx.
Several sources also alleged that the star was not doing well, even though his daughter took care to dispel the claims in their early days.
However, a rep recently shut down rumors that claim COVID-19 vaccine caused the star to have a stroke, which left him partially blind, calling it “completely inaccurate.”
According to a report by The Root, Jamie Foxx’s daughter said of her father’s current well-being, “Update from family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickle ball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!,” she said.
At the moment, the family has refused to clarify the medical condition that landed the star in the hospital. However, Foxx’s latest Netflix comedy, “They Cloned Tyrone,” just dropped a goofy trailer.
