Royal expert Kinsley Schofield has gone on record to say that Harry’s life would look drastically different if his mother were able to have more input. In fact, she told GBNews “I don’t think Meghan Markle would be around if Diana were still here. They might have butted heads. I think they might have clashed.”

According to Cheat Sheet she went so far as to say that “if Diana were alive, Harry would have married a different young woman.”

She said that instead of a basic cable actress “Harry would have married one of those beautiful, young women he was dating earlier in his life, like Chelsea Davy.”

Diana was a pro at navigating the intense media attention she attracted. Schofield thinks if Diana had the chance, she would have helped his romantic interests to deal with “the extreme media attention given to them.”

Royal Family News: Harry Married Meghan

Diana became engaged to Prince Charles when she was still a teenager. She told Panorama “The day I walked down the aisle at St. Paul’s Cathedral, I felt that my personality was taken away from me. I was taken over by the royal machine.”

But she did not take the low road, as Harry and Meghan have, instead she decided to not feel sorry for herself: “you had to either sink or swim. And you had to learn that very fast.”
