Todd Chrisley Complains About Prison
Life behind bars never promised to compare with Todd Chrisley’s mansion. But the Chrisley Knows Best alum feels that his living conditions in prison have become unbearable. And Todd also thinks that officials treat him differently than the other inmates in his federal prison. However, the Chrisley Knows Best alum’s attorney, Jay Surgent, told TMZ that Todd thinks his fame has caused his allegedly unfair situation.
Surgent revealed that Chrisley feels that some strange things have happened to him behind bars at at FPC Pensacola in Florida. For instance, Todd believes that someone photographed him while he slept. And he also alleged that he never gets any mail. As a result, Chrisley believes that someone has decided to destroy his mail.
But Surgent also shared Todd’s complaints about his living conditions. For instance, the Chrisley Knows Best alum has complained that the plumbing seems bad. And he also believes that mold might exist. Todd even whined about a lack of air-conditioning in his cell. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum alleged that his wife Julie suffers from similar problems at her prison FMC Lexington, KY.

Todd Chrisley Wants Home Confinement
However, a spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons claimed that keeping inmates safe ranks as a top concern. And the rep shared that both Todd’s and Julie’s prisons have developed “contingency plans to address a large range of concerns … including ventilation temperatures.” But Todd’s lawyer revealed that the Chrisley Knows Best alum sent in an application with a special request.
Todd wants the officials to change his verdict from years behind bars to home confinement in his luxurious mansion. But he may face a tough task to persuade officials to agree. Todd and Julie both reported to their prisons in January.
Todd must serve 12 years behind bars. In turn, Julie received a sentence of seven years. However, despite the Chrisley Knows Best stars’ convictions for bank fraud and tax evasion, they plan to fight. And the couple will seek out different ways to improve their living conditions.
