Jamie Foxx Hid Health Woes For Months

Fans of actor Jamie Foxx felt baffled for months about his whereabouts. However, insiders now have revealed that the Oscar winning star hid his health problems for two reasons.

And one key reason concerned his fans. Foxx only wanted his fans to see him when he regained his health after an alleged stroke, according to In Touch.

And late last month, the 55-year-old actor created a video about his stay in a hospital starting in April. “I just didn’t want you to see me like that,” confessed Foxx in his video. And he told his fans, “I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, doing a movie, doing a television show.” But then Jamie gave a hint to the extent of his health problems. 

“I just didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through,” admitted the actor. But although Foxx wanted to protect his fans, an insider shared that the actor had another reason for hiding his hospital stay. And the source shared that the superstar felt determined to protect his image in the entertainment industry.

As a result of his desire to protect his fans as well as his image, Foxx insisted on silence about his health battle. And an insider shared his reasoning. The actor “always wants to show everyone in the business that he’s just fine,” explained the source. “And that he’s not damaged goods by any stretch.”

However, the plan did not succeed. And while Foxx demanded silence amid his battle for his life, rumors spread. Because he stayed silent for so long, the gossip grew. Jamie had been filming the Netflix comedy Back in Action with Cameron Diaz when he was hospitalized.

And some compared Jamie’s decision to stay silent to Jeremy Renner. After a nearly deadly snowplow accident, Jeremy shared pics of his recovery. But Foxx did not. And he admitted that he knows about the rumors.

As a result of staying quiet, “sometimes things get out of hand,” pointed out the actor in his video. And he acknowledged, “Some people are saying I was blind. But as you can see the eyes are working just fine. They said I was paralyzed. I’m not paralyzed.”
