According to The View spoilers, Whoopi Goldberg could secure her own series. Her co-host Joy Behar and a producer teased the details. They admitted to “setting her up.”

Some viewers assumed that Whoopi eventually would retire from the daytime talk show since she would look “bored” during the Hot Topics segment.

However, Whoopi claims that she’s not going anywhere and that she’s retired many times throughout her long-spanning career.

On the latest episode of Joy Behar’s podcast, Dating Dos and Don’ts – Unfiltered, she invited The View producer Brian Teta. They mentioned a time when they would “set staffers up on dates.” They would like to do it again with the right panelist in mind.

“We don’t have anybody – we could if we had a panelist,” Joy shared. “A panelist would be great,” Brian agreed.

“Whoopi’s the only one [whose single on the panel],” Joy explained. “We haven’t had a single panelist in a long time.”

Brian admitted that Whoopi would be against the idea. He feels that she should get her own dating reality show. He came up with the idea that Whoopi would “go on dates on television.” She might as well have her own series.

The View spoilers teased the Whoopi Goldberg retirement rumors for months. She went missing from the show for personal reasons. Back in October, Whoopi spoke out about retiring from the show. She joked that she has been “retired my whole career.”

“i have a contract. As long as I’m doing the contract, nobody’s mad,” Whoopi told The U.S. Sun. “But, I’ve been off on Fridays for years now because when he did that normally, I’d go to work and do shows or do whatever because I could travel on a Friday.”
