There’s a new report that suggests King Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles keep separate homes, friends and interests. But hey, no one seems to be complaining about it. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to the Daily Mail, King Charles and Queen Camilla love doing their own thing from time to time.

Apparently, the Queen of England spends some time away from her husband while she’s with her own family and friends while Charles will “potter” in his gardens or on the farm.

Even when they are at home though at Windsor Castle or at Birkhall, they like to spend their time reading in separate wings.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but that time apart really works for them. They are better for it.”

Royal Family News – What’s Next For The King And Queen Of England?

And while some people think this is perfectly normal, others can’t help but scratch their heads over it.

Some have commented on the matter with, “It’s very much be careful what you wish for. He wished for nothing more than Camilla.

Nothing and no one else mattered. And now? He doesn’t matter to anyone,” along with, “Charles got played. He sacrificed his relationship with his sons to rehabilitate Camilla’s image and now he & Camilla are virtually separated. Camilla actually used Charles’s children to protect her own. Her children are still a part of her life.”

Another critic wrote, “I wonder if Charles actually cares that he basically has no one left? He’s finally king, after waiting so freaking long, and that might be enough for him. To me it sounds like a depressing existence, but I can honestly see him being happy to wake up with his new title and his red boxes every morning.”
