Todd Chrisley has devoted the past year to complaining about life in prison. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum has used his daughter Savannah, his attorneys, and interviews to express his disgust for his accommodations behind bars.
However, in a change of pace, Todd now wants to share his anxiety over changing prisons. And it comes after the Chrisley Knows Best alum has proclaimed his belief that he received his 12-year sentence not due to all those fraud charges but because God sent him on a mission, as revealed below.
Todd Chrisley – Freaks Out Over Prison Move
After receiving a 12-year prison sentence for various fraud charges, Todd Chrisley swapped his mansion for life behind bars. And since then, the Chrisley Knows Best alum has repeatedly complained about what he views as repulsive living conditions. However, now Todd has begun to freak out about a potential prison transfer, per TMZ.
And the Chrisley Knows Best alum’s attorney Jay Surgent revealed that Todd wants to stay in his current prison. However, that desire doesn’t reflect an improvement in the situation there after his complaints.
And instead, the attorney explained that Chrisley fears that the prison officials and guards in his new facility will take some sort of retaliation against him because of all his complaints. Todd apparently didn’t realize that all his criticisms of his current prison, FPC Pensacola, might result in problems.
Todd Chrisley – Thinks God Sent Him To Prison
But although Chrisley’s attorney did not receive any formal notice of transfer, he claimed that Todd heard through the prison grapevine that he could end up getting moved to another facility. And that transfer supposedly results from the reality TV star charging that the current prison provides horrible food, bad plumbing, and assorted problems.
However, Todd probably would receive a transfer to another federal prison facility rather than a move to a state prison. And the Chrisley Knows Best star wants to stay where he is because of his family. Savannah currently visits her father there as well as her mother Julie Chrisley, who resides currently in a prison in Kentucky.
And Todd worries that a move too far away would make it problematic for Savannah. But in addition, the attorney describes Chrisley as a mentor to Pensacola’s other inmates. And that comes after the revelation that Todd thinks God sent him to prison on a mission to help other inmates. As a result, Chrisley wants to stay where he is to keep fulfilling that supposed mission.
Tell us what you think. How do you feel about Todd Chrisley claiming to know about a transfer based on a prison grapevine? In reply to Todd Chrisleys situation in prison, I know that the Lord can use all types of people no matter what was or what is, to help others and accomplish his will, if they are willing. Sometimes that might require change that might be painful. God bless!
