The 29-year-old doesn’t approve of the age difference, especially since the Phillipino is only 23. Recently, the reality personality talked about the 31-year age difference and if things have improved with his family.

When there is a big age gap with couples, that can stir up all kinds of opinions. However, Big Ed, 52, said that him romancing 23-year-old Rosemarie was never an issue. In fact, he explained to Fox News that he brought up the age difference on FaceTime. However, Rosemarie said age was just a number.

90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days –  Spoilers: Big Ed’s Daughter

Ed’s daughter stopped speaking to him. However, as we saw during a recent episode, he did briefly chat with her before taking off for the Philippines. So, will the father/daughter continue to have issues or is everything okay now?

“So, Tiffany and I had a great conversation when I got back. And, you know, we both agreed. You know, it’s not a good idea to date somebody that young. But she wants me to be happy. So we’re in a really good place.”

Love Lies and Romantic Obstacles

This couple already has a lot going against them. While Rosemarie speaks some English, her family does not, so Ed needed her to interpret. She lives in a very poor community and as expected, the question of money eventually came up.

Plus, her young son, Prince, already started calling him “daddy” before even meeting him and Rosemarie already wants more children. Ed is 52 years old and does not want to have more kids.

Then, there were the little lies that Ed told Rosemarie. He fudged about his height and Rosemarie didn’t know he planned on getting a vasectomy.

It seems that Ed and Rosemarie have a lot to work out. Ed seems like a genuine guy, but fans are unsure about Rosemarie’s real intentions. As for whether the couple can actually make it, fans will have to keep watching to find out.
