Allegedly, Pat Sajak’s replacement host on Wheel of Fortune (WoF) Ryan Seacrest is so traumatized by hate going his way that he’s seeking help from a therapist. After decades of being in the spotlight, it seems that his sensitive nature still can’t get used to criticism.
Ryan Seacrest Had Good WoF Premiere Ratings
It was his former colleague, Kelly Ripa from Live with Kelly and Ryan, who planted seeds of doubt about the host of American Idol not being up to doing Pat Sajak’s job on Wheel of Fortune. In fact, in the new edition with Mark Consuelos, she told the world and Vanna White that Ryan can’t spell to save his life.
With friends like that who needs enemies? Anyway, surprisingly, when Ryan Seacrest premiered in the fall with Season 42, ratings were sky-high. And, that shook a lot of critics who hoped he would fail. Perhaps he thought he was safe and no more hate would go his way. But apparently, nobody’s ever totally safe on fabulous TV shows, as Ellen DeGeneres can attest to.
Wheel of Fortune Hosts Seeks Therapy?
According to a report by Closer, the American Idol host who is also famous for the New Year live and his radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, is having some problems. It seems that he’s hurting badly from critics who find fault with him on Wheel of Fortune.
On the weekend, the outlet claimed that a source said that a lot of things worry the allegedly sensitive host. In part, the source claimed:
Ryan’s a lot more sensitive than people give him credit for and his confidence and arrogance are merely bravado for him. If he thought he could waltz into Wheel of Fortune and spin things his way, he thought wrong. The job’s harder than he thought and winning over the fans has been a tough nut to crack. He’s reading everything that’s said about him and taking it to heart… Of course, the biggest struggle is that he hates to be hated.
There was more tea leaked about Ryan Seacrest by the insider. They noted that the new Wheel of Fortune host needs help to deal with the hate. Allegedly, “his self-esteem has taken a beating and he’s seeking therapy to build himself back up again.”
What are your thoughts about Ryan Seacrest supposedly being so “sensitive” to people who hate him that he seeks help from a therapist?
