Atkinson explained to the magazine that the person that Thomas loves the most in the world is his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). He has remorse for using his son while trying to coerce Hope into marrying him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Thomas has spoken to Hope, but it’s not why viewers think. He has also talked on the phone with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). The conversations reportedly revolved around Thomas’ son, Douglas.

“Thomas checked in with Liam and Hope regarding Douglas, so it wasn’t like he just focused on himself. He wanted to continue being the father’s presence in his son’s life. There are a few close people in Thomas’s life and no one is closer to him in his heart than Douglas — and I think Thomas understands the mistakes that he made with his son.”

B&B Spoilers – Chatting With Ridge Forrester

Thomas has also had conversations with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Atkinson doesn’t reveal what exactly they talked about, but apparently it was more than a few phone calls and wasn’t just to touch base. By using the term conversations, it must have been full-fledged discussions on Thomas’s manipulative and obsessive behavior.

While we would love to think that he is all better now, only time will tell. However, Atkinson did say that he hopes Thomas is over trying to make Hope his wife.
