Coronation Street spoilers have revealed Carla Connor is still grieving for the death of her estranged husband, Johnny and will try to drown her pain in alcohol.
Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) eternally left the cobbles during Super Soap Week when he fell to the sewers together with Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews). The former couple shouted for help as the water kept on rising.
Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) came to their rescue when she saw them being devoured by the ground. Jenny was able to swim for safety while Johnny was left worn-out and had little energy to save himself.
On the following day, Jenny and Carla (Alison King) confronted David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) for not fixing the sinkhole right away and blamed him for the death of Johnny.
At Johnny’s funeral, Jenny and Carla are breaking into tears as they deliver their heartfelt eulogies for Johnny, but Jenny’s grief will lead her to return to drinking wine again, which concerns Daisy. Will Jenny be alright?
