Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that fans have been wondering what secret George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is hiding from Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver). The latter thinks that he’s having an affair. But does it really have something to do with women or is it about something else?

There has been a lot of speculation about what George is up to and Eileen thinks he’s cheating on her. At first, it looked like her suspicions were correct. It all started when George refused when Eileen wanted to stay over for the evening. He came up with an excuse that his cat, Ridley, isn’t very welcoming when it comes to guests in the house.

George gets annoyed when he discovers Eileen and Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) playing detective in his garden. When confronted, Eileen admitted that they were trying to find clues as to whether he was lying about his cat or if he had one at all.

Coronation Street – Todd Grimshaw Discovers George’s Secret

Later on, Todd joins the pair in finding out George’s secret. He discovers it at last and it doesn’t have anything to do with a torrid love affair. Todd learns that George doesn’t want to spend the evening with Eileen because he snores a lot.

George reveals that he’s scared to spend the night with anyone because he has a snoring problem. He’s worried that he’ll only keep Eileen up at night and that his snoring problem would be a huge turn-off.

Todd was amused by George’s secret and encouraged him to come clean with Eileen. When George told Eileen the truth, the latter assured him that he doesn’t have anything to worry about. George is still concerned so the only way to put this to rest is to actually spend the night together and find out if Eileen can handle his snoring issues. Will Eileen get through the night?

Coronation Street teased what fans can expect after Max Turner (Paddy Bever) experiences a shocking accident. He accidentally lacerated his leg, which landed him in the hospital.

The doctors had to operate on him to fix his leg. Fortunately, he’s no longer in harm’s way, which means David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) and his wife Shona (Julia Goulding) can finally let out a sigh of relief, at least for a short time.

Later on, Max admits to the pair that he wanted to run away because he doesn’t want to go to prison because of his role in the drink-spiking incident. Max may have been honest, for the first time to his parents, but he’ll get bad news. He’ll learn that the school has expelled him. What will happen to Max now?
