Coronation Street Spoilers: Joseph Brown Exits The Soap After Feeling Unwanted

Coronation Street spoilers have teased an exit for the youngster Joseph Brown after he overhears a family’s conversation and wrongly assumes they want him away.

Joseph (William Flanagan) has been struggling to cope with his family’s developments especially since his father Chesney (Sam Aston) has his attention on raising quadruplets. Previously, the child did a runner when his father got involved with his bullying issues at school, believing that he doesn’t care about what he truly feels.

The drama continues next week when Joseph’s grandmother Linda Hancock (Jacqueline Leonard) returns to the cobbles for a visit after her six-year hiatus in the long-running ITV soap.

Linda observes Chesney is struggling to meet the family’s daily needs and offers to pay for Joseph’s fee at a children’s activity club. The child beams with hope and joyfully goes there with his grandmom. However, Bernie Winter’s (Jane Hazlegrove) ego is hurt, and confides in Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) she isn’t pleased with Linda’s interventions.

Later, the family faces a health scare when two of the quads get sick and Bernie informs Linda after coming home with Joseph from the activity. The concerned grandmom suggests Joseph should stay with her at the posh hotel. Will the family agree? Or will their ego get in the way?

‘Coronation Street’ – Joseph Brown Goes To Portugal?

Seeing how the family is struggling financially, Linda braves a conversation with Chesney and tells her about her plans of bringing Joseph with her to live permanently in Portugal. Expectedly, Chesney isn’t welcoming with the idea and kicks Linda out of the flat.

However, she’s firm in giving Joseph a better life and asks him outright if he wants to move to Portugal with her but things turn sour later when Chesney orders her to stay away from Joseph from now on.

But Joseph spirals down back at the flat when the couple Chesney and Gemma talks about working overtime to provide Joseph’s happiness, but the child misinterprets this making him feel awful for being a burden to the family.

Coronation Street spoilers – Later, Joseph Brown Tells Her Parents He Wants To Move With Linda.

It seems like the family will give in to Joseph’s decision as the paparazzi’s previously spotted the Corrie characters filming at an airport. Chesney was seen teary-eyed while hugging Joseph who’s holding a suitcase with Linda standing by his side. Will Joseph exit the soap for good?

“She thinks Chesney is an amazing dad, who loves his son. But she can see that he has difficulty because they’re struggling to provide those niceties … she knows he’s a great dad but day to day is a constant struggle,” the returnee Corrie star Jacqueline Leonard told Digital Spy.
