In a surprising turn of events, Simon chooses Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) over Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson).

However, when Leanne returns from her retreat, she is upset to find out that Simon plans to leave and join Peter on his yacht without consulting her.

Nick Tilsey (Ben Price) tries to reassure her by mentioning the message he left with Rowan Cunliffe (Emrhys Cooper), but it seems that the message wasn’t passed on.

This angers Leanne, leading her to accuse Nick of secretly working with Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor).

Feeling isolated, Leanne shares her emotions with someone through her laptop, expressing her desire to be with that person and blaming Nick for taking Simon’s side.

Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) discloses to Constable Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) about Ellie (uncredited) and how Nathan used to abuse her as well.

She offers to provide him with Ellie’s address. Craig visits Ellie’s accommodations, only to be informed by her flatmate that she has moved out and seemed frightened about something.

After two young men make inappropriate comments at the garage, Abi feels hopeless as someone is actively trying to destroy her life.

Elsewhere, Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) suggests they reach out to the online management company that Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) had contacted for Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey). When Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) reveals his lack of a chess partner, Nina comes up with an idea.
