Corrie spoilers reveal that it has been about six months since Corey and his friends attacked Nina and Seb. Despite horrific life-threatening injuries, Nina survived. However, Seb succumbed to his injuries and died in the hospital. Even though it seemed as if Corey was going to get away with murder, a series of events led to the police finally agreeing to charge him.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Abi Webster’s Spiral

During Halloween, Abi was determined to force Corey to confess. After getting a gun, Abi and Corey played a cat-and-mouse game in the House of Horrors. When they fell through the floor due to a sinkhole, Abi and Corey were both trapped underground. Abi demanded that Corey confess to killing Seb and threatened to pull the trigger if he didn’t. Corey did confess but claimed it was an accident. That is when Roy came into the picture and stopped Abi from committing murder.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that since then, the gun has been linked to two crimes. One is Natasha Blakeman’s (Rachel Leskovac) death. The police have confirmed that it was the same gun that was used in a raid many years ago. Roy urges Abi to tell the truth as he’s had to lie to the police on her behalf yet again.

Now Roy has decided that the only option is for him to leave the cobbles. It’s a decision that he’s taking seriously and has already made preparations. Roy is signing over the cafe to Nina and simply told Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) that he doesn’t need it anymore.

At first, Nina suspected that Roy might be planning to commit suicide, which she shared with Abi. Nina has already lost so many people in her life that she couldn’t bear to lose Roy, too. However, Roy admits that he’s not taking his own life but is leaving the cobbles forever. Can Nina stop him from going, or is this really goodbye after over a quarter of a century?
