Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that details of The Fast Show star’s upcoming guest role have been revealed. Arabella Weir is heading to the cobbles as Yvette, and she’ll be part of a storyline that involves Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) and Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw).
In upcoming scenes, Ed and Aggie go out on a date when they run into their former neighbors, Patrick and Yvette. Aggie feels secretly irritated when the pair decides to join them on their meal to catch up.
Later on in the week, Ed decides to host a dinner for Patrick and Yvette He tells Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) about his plans, leaving Aggie worried. The latter is concerned that their former neighbors would criticize their current living conditions.
Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) comes up with an idea and offers his and Sally’s house to host their dinner. Will Aggie and Ed agree? And will they manage to pull it off, or will it all lead to a disaster?
Aggie starts to cook for Patrick and Yvette while Sally watches her prepare. The latter feels that the arrangement will be a total disaster, and it seems like her fears are about to come true. They will have a lot of explaining to do when the pair sees Tim wandering in the house wearing a pink dressing gown when they arrive. How will Ed and Aggie explain the situation?
Coronation Street Spoilers – Daniel Osbourne’s Legal Battles
Elsewhere, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) will continue to struggle with his legal battles. He is one of the key witnesses against Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still). He provides evidence concerning his stalking of Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan). He tells the court how Justin harassed Daisy with his relentless text messages and visits. He struggles to keep his composure when the defense attorney questions his fiance’s character and describes her as unreliable and highly strung.
As for Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott), who fell victim to the acid attack instead of Daisy, insisted that he won’t testify in court. Daisy is also uncertain about giving evidence without Ryan’s support. She attempts to run away, but Carla Barlow stops her and encourages her to stand up against Justin once and for all.
Daisy faces the court. But will she have the courage to relive the attack while facing Justin?
