Coronation Street: Will Elaine Jones Be Stephen Reid’s Next Victim?

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) could be Stephen Reid’s (Todd Boyce) next victim. Recent scenes showed the latter plotting the former’s death. Will she be the next on his kill list or is he eyeing someone else?

Fans saw the serial killer take out a life insurance policy on Elaine, his soon-to-be-wife, after learning that she has a heart condition, which claimed the life of her mother. Stephen used his underhanded tactics to get Elaine’s personal information so he could officially take out the insurance policy.

Stephen and Elaine were supposed to have an impromptu wedding in the United States, where the former can do his sinister plans. But she changed her mind and decided to get married in the cobbles so her friends and family could attend. She gathered all of her loved ones at the Rovers to inform them of the changes regarding their wedding.

Meanwhile, Owen (Ben Hull) and Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) caught the attention of Stephen. The latter noticed the pair flirting with each other at the bar. Fans know that Stephen always had secret feelings for Jenny and seeing Owen get closer to her could prove to be a fatal mistake.

Viewers are aware that Stephen has already claimed the lives of three people. Owen could be the fourth if Stephen gets jealous of him and decides to get rid of him for good.

A report by Entertainment Daily said that fans are begging Stephen to kill Elaine. They seem to have had enough of the character and they want the cobble’s serial killer to “hurry up” and get rid of her.

“My man Stephen gotta hurry up and kill Elaine,” one viewer wrote.

Will Stephen find a way to murder Elaine so he can take all of her cash? Fans have given a green light on his plan but they have to wait and see if she’ll be his fourth victim or someone else.
