When Nyle won the show in 2015, he was the first deaf contestant, which also made him the first deaf winner of ANTM. With his exposure, he became the face of deaf and hard-of-hearing models in the fashion industry.
His success in the show exhibited that their disability is not a hindrance in everything they do, especially in the fashion industry.
After ANTM, he also joined Dancing With the Stars in 2016. He was the second deaf contestant to join the show. By joining DWTS, he showed that disability also does not affect his talent as a dancer.

Nyle DiMarco’s – Other Talents
Nyle also worked as an actor in different television shows. He was in Switched at Birth, Difficult People, This Close, and Station 19. Switched at Birth is one of the first TV shows to showcase several regular casts that are deaf and hard of hearing.
