Carole Baskins’ Dead Husband Don Lewis Alive In Costa Rico?

Carole Baskins will forever go down in pop culture history as one of the most hated women of all time, thanks to her not-so-flattering depiction in Netflix Tiger King.

Of course, the rumors and allegations that she took out her own husband Don Lewis, and possibly let the “big cats” clean up his remains isn’t helping her case any.

This week the internet and Tiger King fans went in to a frenzy over a report that Don Lewis was spotted alive and well, and is living in Costa Rico. Lewis has been listed as a missing person in the national database since 1997. And, would now be over 80 years old.

Is Carole Baskins’ Husband Alive?

Don Lewis’ friends and family would love nothing more than to find out the missing man is chilling on a beach and drinking Mai-Tai’s. But, according to his daughters, the report from Homeland Security is inaccurate and may have been doctored for the internet, and is simply not true.

Apparently, it’s the same report that was found to be bogus on Tiger King Season 2 on Netflix. Despite some creative editing on social media, the report is actually almost 30 years old.

And, Don’s daughter Donna and her husband actually traveled to Costa Rico in 1997 and the sighting turned out to be unfounded and her dad was nowhere to be found.

Where Is Don Lewis?

Don Lewis’ daughter told TMZ, “While we would certainly welcome the good news of our Dad being found alive, it’s just simply not true.”

Despite all the buzz, it looks like Carole Baskins husband Don is still very much missing and presumed dead. What do you think
