In a new interview, Gwen Stefani spoke out about the divorce rumors. Fans noticed the couple hit a rough patch in late 2023.

They noticed clues that Gwen deleted all videos and photos that featured Blake from her Instagram account. Fans also noticed that the two looked tense during the holiday season.

On top of that, they were living separate lives. However, Blake and Gwen reunited to release their new duet, “Purple Irises.” The pop star spoke to Nylon about the divorce rumors. She shared the secret behind their strong marriage.

“But when you’re in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to use,” she told the publication. “You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship – I mean, a week ago, we were getting divorced again or something. It’s just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what it is. And that [negativity] would never penetrate just by me being vulnerable and sharing a song that I didn’t write for anybody else but myself and Blake.”

Gwen Stefani admitted that the rumors got to her. She wrote about the “drama in her mind” that she created in her head.

When Blake Shelton first heard the song, he encouraged his wife to release it to the world. That’s when Gwen realized that she wanted to include him in the project.

“In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what’s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen,” Gwen shared. “I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid.”

Couple Gives Up Baby Plans

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton gave up on their baby plans. Back in February, it was also rumored that they wanted to start a family together.

Blake is a good father to Gwen’s three sons, whom she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. The couple prayed for a miracle, according to The Hollywood Gossip.

It worked and Gwen supposedly ended up pregnant with her fourth child. However, Radar ,Online revealed that Gwen suffered a miscarriage. She was so distraught by the experience that she wrote off her plans of having another baby.

“It was very hard for her,” a source close to the singer told Radar Online. “Especially since she and Blake tried to have a baby for at least a year and a half!”

Understandably, Gwen is 54 years old while Blake is 47. It would be difficult for them to have a baby at this stage.
