Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shares Bizarre Mother’s Day Tribute For Murdered Mom Dee Dee

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was the LAST person we expected to celebrate Mother’s Day on social media.  After you go to prison for your role in your mom’s murder, it seems like a strange day to commemorate.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Celebrates Mother’s Day

This is Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s first Mother’s Day as a free woman in almost ten years.  It’s also the first Mother’s Day that she is free to celebrate since her mother Dee Dee Blanchard’s murder.

If you watched The Act on Hulu, then you know that Dee Dee certainly was not mother of the year, by any means. 

Gypsy Rose’s murder sentence was actually very lenient because the court took in to consideration the fact that her mother mentally, physically, and emotionally abused her for decades. 

Dee Dee actually forced Gypsy to shave her head and eat from a feeding tube so she could collect financial assistance for her “dying daughter.”

When you take all of that in to consideration, what could Gypsy Rose possibly have to say on Mother’s Day? 

On TikTok she stated, “It does not go without notice that my own biological mother is not here to celebrate Mother’s Day and what I choose to feel on Mother’s Day regarding my own mother is that I think the best of her.  I think about the good times.

I think about her as not what she did to me, but I think about her as a person … Was she a good mom? No. Was she the best mom in the world? No. But she was still my mom so what I choose to feel about her, whether that be guilt, anger, grief, resentment — whatever. That’s mine to feel. No one can take away my own feelings about my own mother, and I feel like no one should be able to have an opinion about my mother except for her family and me because we were the people closest to her.”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is either extremely damaged from the abuse she endured or a very savvy business woman, or possibly both. 

What better way to stay relevant than post a tribute to the mother you helped murder on Mother’s Day?
