Kanye West Responds To Ex-Security’s Lawsuit

A former security guard for the “Good Morning” rapper Kanye West previously filed a lawsuit against Kanye back in September at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Tony Saxon is an ex-security guard of Kanye who was in charge of watching his $57M Malibu mansion.

Tony is suing Kanye for hazardous working conditions, unlawful wage withholding, and wrongful termination.

According to him, Kanye made him work over 16 hours, and more some days and was made to sleep under freezing weather conditions while guarding the building.

Kanye has responded by hiring London Meservy of Meservy Law, P.C., as his attorney. The judge assigned to the case is Judge Serena R. Murillo, and the management hearing has been scheduled to be held in January 2024.

Kanye West — On Tony’s Lawsuit Against Kanye

Tony once revealed to The U.S. Sun exclusively, that there was a time he was severely injured due to the multiple jobs he had to do, and afterward he wasn’t provided with a bed so he resorted to sleeping on a makeshift bed on the floor.

He also said that even after telling the musician of his injury, Kanye refused to give him some time off work to recover. He told the outlet that up to this day, he hasn’t fully healed.

“I was injured on site. I’m still injured. I’m still hurt. I’m never going back to that particular line of work, in any capacity, ever again, because I can’t physically,” said Tony to the outlet.

Tony went on to share that he only worked for the 46-year-old for 2 months, and those months were pure hell.

Sharing how he was axed from the job, Tony said that the dad of four asked him to bring into the house large power generators on safety ground so he could remove the building’s windows and create a “bomb shelter.” When he refused and asked Kanye if he was “trying to kill me? Are you trying to kill everyone that works here?’ He told me, ‘If you don’t listen to me, then you’re an enemy. You’re a Clinton, you’re a Kardashian, and I’m not going to be your friend anymore.”

Following Tony’s claim that Kanye owes him $1M in unpaid wages and damages, the “Donda” rapper’s attorney released a nine-page response denying the allegations.

The response in part reads: “Defendant denies generally and specifically each and every allegation contained in the complaint, and each and every purported cause of action contained in the complaint and specifically denies that Plaintiff has sustained any injury, damage, or loss by reason of any act, omission or breach by Defendant and denies that Plaintiff is entitled to any or all of the relief requested in the complaint.”
