Kris Jenner Wants KUWTK Going For At Least ’10 More Years’ But Her Daughters Are Against It

Kris Jenner is a very good businesswoman, no doubt about that. Anything to secure the bag and keep staying relevant for at least the next three generations of her family or more, she’s happy to do it.

However, having been in the spotlight almost all their lives, and being one of the most famous siblings in the world, the KarJenner sisters have other ideas.

All of the five sisters are not willing to keep appearing on TV for that long and they made it pretty clear about it. But then it seems the momager will be putting her foot down to get what she wants. Recall that Kris is the sole reason the whole world recognizes her family.

It all started with their first reality TV show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” which began airing on E! In 2007. The show ran through 2020 with a total of 20 seasons.

After taking a one-year hiatus, they relaunched on Hulu as “The Kardashians” in 2022 and it’s already in its fourth installment.

Kris Jenner — On Kris Wanting The Show To Run For “10 More Years”

Recently, a source close to the Kardashians told The U.S. Sun that the 68-year-old wants the show to go on for at least “10 more years.”

The source said, “Kris’ position is very firm: she wants to keep the reality franchise going and she wants to keep working with all her daughters to do it. She’s been very firm on this point and it gave her a lot of power in the dealmaking with Hulu when they moved the franchise away from NBCUniversal.”

The insider continued, “There is no bigger name in reality television than the Kardashians, and Kris wants this to go for 10 more years, at a minimum,” the same source revealed.

Everybody knows her daughters are far less passionate about the whole project, especially as their own business and family interests take more of their attention. Kris has been the one who kept the show going, not the girls.”

They went on to reveal, “Everybody involved makes a lot more money now at Hulu than they ever did at NBC and that’s the thing that is keeping the train running and keeping Kris’ daughters involved,” while adding, “Unquestionably, they all have better opportunities they can pursue elsewhere but the reality show is Kris’ project and she has turned it into a profit center.”

“Now everybody is wondering if she can renew and grow their initial five-year deal or if it’s time to quit while they’re ahead. It all comes down to Kris’ negotiating skills.

If the money is right, that’s enough to get her daughters to stay, even if Kim suddenly becomes an important actress on other shows and movies, her foundation is this show and Kris’ guiding hand behind it, and where Kim goes, the rest of the family follows.”
