Someone hold the phone because it looks like these two are calling the late 1990’s back. There’s a new report that suggests Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe might be looking to give their relationship a second chance.

According to the latest edition of The Globe, Reese Witherspoon recently announced her split from Jim Toth after 12 years of marriage. Apparently, there was no romance in the marriage and the couple just figured that they were better apart than they were together.

Sources close to the situation say that Ryan has been on the phone with Reese and has been telling her all about his problems. Apparently, the actress has been his “rock” through all of this, too.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “The bond, sheer love and respect between Reese and Ryan has never gone away, even at the height of their respective troubles. The exes have always had each other’s backs during Ryan’s messy split with Elsie Hewitt. She sued the actor in 2017, claiming that he kicked, punched and threw her down the stairs. He denied her claims and they settled in court two years later.”
