Victoria Beckham has always been the spice girl least anxious for a reunion, and to think she’s now the one dropping Spice Girls hints. I believe this means it’s time I take Mel B’s 2021 prediction that a reunion is going to happen as gospel truth.
Victoria Beckham And David Beckham Sing One of Spice Girls’ Biggest Hit For Messi
Stop what you’re doing and check out this new trending video of Victoria Beckham, who, with the help of her husband David and a backing track, performed one of Spice Girls’ biggest hits as part of the celebration for Lionel Messi’s MLS debut.
The hit in question is their 1996 song, “Say You’ll Be There.” The Spice Girls may not have lasted that long, but they’re the closest thing to Beatlemania that has happened since, well, Beatlemania.
Happy about the win Messi brought for Inter Miami, a club he, David, co-owns, the former football star sang a few lyrics and danced with his wife in front of the DJ’s booth.
While we don’t see Victoria singing a spice girl hit song every other day, it’s still not a cause for alarm. That is, if she didn’t tease the possibility of something more when she shared the clip on TikTok.
“Warming Up The Vocals In Miami!” Victoria, Aka Posh Spice, Captioned The Clip. “More To Come.”
The fashion designer also shared another video of herself dancing with David, mic in hand, on Instagram, writing, “Just a casual night out in Miami! No really I did not drink that much.”
This is coming amid speculations that the Spice Girls will be reuniting for a world tour, which is something Mel B said she’s been pushing for. In 2021, as the former girl group celebrated their 25th anniversary with a release of the group’s first new single in 14 years, Mel B shared her hopes for a reunion tour.
“We did our last tour and Victoria respectfully ducked out, and you have to respect when someone doesn’t want to go on tour,” she said at time. “I’m always pushing to have a Spice Girls reunion and we were in talks last year but then COVID hit so it pushed everybody’s plans.”
She added: “I think we’re hopefully on the same page together. They’re going to kill me for saying this! We’re hoping, especially me – if it has anything to do with me, which it will have ’cause I’m the driving force and will make sure it happens – to tour in 2023!”
So who’s ready for a Spice Girls tour featuring all five members of the group?
