Coronation Street Maria Connor Goes Savage After Liam’s Asthma Attack

Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveal concerned mother Maria Connor has gone savage in her revengeful act after learning from the doctor that the vehicle fumes at the street were the culprit behind her child Liam’s asthma attack.

Maria (Samia Longchambon) was too occupied about Gary’s (Mikey North) return and his request to spend his savings for Kelly’s (Millie Gibson) legal experts that she didn’t bother to listen to Sally Metcalfe’s (Sally Dynevor) campaign for her vision about car parking on the cobbles.

Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) suggested it wasn’t the right time for them to persuade Maria, but Sally insisted. However, while they were busy arguing, Maria’s son Liam experienced breathing difficulties while playing football with Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes).

When Sally called for an ambulance, the paramedics had struggled to come true due to the double-parked cars.

At the hospital, the doctor inquired Maria about Liam’s lifestyle and concluded that the pollution caused by the traffic fumes emitted by cars at Corrie was the trigger.

Maria felt obligated to do something about the parking issues. But what if she will cause more conflict than provide solutions?

Corrie viewers were surprised to see Maria on her destruction spree after Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) refused to submit to her request to get rid of the Underworld’s van.

After she saw Kirk (Andy Whyment) driving Underworld’s white van for work, she literally took the matters into her hands using a crowbar and began smashing up the van.

Kirk tried to stop furious Maria but the more she’s triggered when Sarah came checking what’s going on.

“Did you think I was joking? Does this look like a joke to you?” Maria questioned.

“Look, I know that something terrible has happened and yes we could probably do more there’s no denying that. But, this is not the way to go about it,” Sarah tried to calm her down.

Sally, who was eager to do something about the traffic, had also supported Sarah and told Maria she’s just upset. Sarah assured her she’s already called the cops.

“That’s a thousand pounds worth of damage,” Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) pointed out, but it only agitated Maria more.

“Oh is that all? Could they still drive it like this then?” Maria teased before striking the windscreen of the van once more.

“If this saves one kid’s life then it’s been worth it,” she insisted.

But will Carla Barlow (Alison King) press charges and demand payment for the damages she caused for Underworld? How will Maria continue her mission if she will be locked up in prison?
