But from there, her career busted out including a stint on Holby City as nurse Chrissie Williams. In a recent interview with The Express, the actress talked about her successful career.

After Corrie Tina went on to play nurse Chrissie Williams in the medical drama Holby City. Which has led to some confusion between reel life and real life at times!
“It happens a lot,” says Tina, “I get people saying ‘Chrissie, I’ve got back pain, come and have a look … It happens in the street, in shopping centers, even in a queue for a ride at an amusement park – and I left Holby seven years ago.”
But does the gorgeous star think she would be a good nurse? “If I was your last chance I’d have a go,” she laughed. “I think I could pull off a tracheotomy with a Bic pen ….”

Tina is now a DJ on Smooth FM. When she found out that, “Holby and Casualty were offering equipment to the NHS, it made me proud…Our equipment was state of the art. The advisers on set said we’d only have to disinfect it and we could open up for patients.” Now there’s an idea!
“We were pretend-doctoring, the real angels are people like my therapist friend who volunteered to go back to the NHS front-line after thirteen years. They make our job look so slight and silly.”

Nonetheless, the successful actress isn’t sitting on her laurels. In light of the coronavirus pandemic, the actress is doing what she can to pitch in and help as the world hunkers down during this dark time.
Tina is partnering with like-minded celebs, including Sir Derek Jacobi, Ruth Jones, and Hugh Bonneville, on a charity venture. The stars plan to debut Record & Share for the NHS, a campaign developed by the children’s audio system tonies.

What’s involved in Tina’s new venture? Tina herself, as well as other celebs, will read and record classic children’s stories.
“My kids love audiobooks so I tried it out on them and their faces lit up,” she said. “As well as raising funds, you can tap into a child’s imagination and transport them away from screens and computers.”
