Coronation Street Spoilers: Alan Halsall Hints Tyrone’s Secret Wedding Plans To Fiz

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Alan Halsall hinted about Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall), wedding plans for his partner Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine). Spoilers hint that his character will make a shock proposal, which will kick off the couple’s romantic Christmas storyline.

The actor revealed that his alter ego wants to tie the knot with Fiz and prefers to “do it completely off the cuff.” He wants Fiz to feel special on that day, but he also believes that what makes it special is that they’ll be getting married to each other, and he wants that to happen immediately.

“It’s not that he wants to rush it, he just wants to be married to Fiz after all these years. Tyrone’s taste in dresses and venues might not be up to Fiz’s!” the actor explained.

How Will The Kids React?

The actor also addressed the possible reaction of Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) and Ruby Dobbs (Macy Alabi) when they learn that they’re getting married. Halsall said that the kids see the pair as “mum” and “dad” anyway, so that won’t be much of a problem.

He explained that Hope has some issues, but the kids in general, won’t be bothered. Hope will see the funny side in all these, especially because not many kids can be a flower girl twice in a matter of six months.

Will the third time be a charm?

Fans may recall that this is not Tyrone’s first wedding. He’s had some history with nuptials given his past relationships with Molly Compton (Vicky Binns) and Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede). Halsall teased that his character is hoping that the third time would be a charm. The actor also said that the upcoming “marriage feels right for Tyrone.”

Halsall hopes Tyrone and Fiz would remain as a couple for “quite some time.”

“I would still like to tell those domestic stories but together with Fiz as a family unit,” he explained.

Corrie User Teases Light-Hearted Christmas Storylines

Iain MacLeod, Coronation Street producer, also teased that the storylines for the upcoming festive season will be filled with “comedy, family fun and warmth.”

He shared that he cried twice during the viewing because the storylines were moving and lovely. It’s not sad, but in a ‘warm your cockles’ way.”
