Eileen finds a note hidden in plain sight and it’s from Todd. He makes an urgent plea for his mother to meet him at an abandoned warehouse. Then, she is asked to come down and identify another dead body that matches Todd’s description. Knowing that her son is in trouble and wanting to protect him until she gets answers, Eileen plays along and doesn’t say anything about the note.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Eileen and Todd will finally come face-to-face. Now, Eileen knows for sure that her son is alive. However, he is in serious trouble and tells her how important it is that everyone thinks he’s dead. That is when Eileen mentions how horrible it is to go looking at dead bodies knowing that the corpse is not him.

“I’ve got to go and identify these bodies more when I know it’s not going to be you.”

That statement gives Todd a bright idea and he asks his mother to identify the next body as him. Eileen is simply gobsmacked by the suggestion.

“I mean, she is absolutely gobsmacked at this. It’s the most disgusting, horrific thing she’s ever heard and is horrified!”

Coronation Street Spoilers – Brainstorming New Plan

Eileen goes to identify another dead body and plans on telling them that it is Todd. Sean offers to go with her, unaware of the scheme, but Eileen insists on going by herself. She nearly does what Todd requested of her, but can’t follow through at the last minute.

It’s probably a good thing because what if the body is later identified as someone else? How will Eileen explain that? Despite not intentionally misidentifying the dead body, she comes up with an idea on how to help her son. However, will it be successful or could it actually make things worse?
