Coronation Street Spoilers: Fiz Ends In Prison Over Arson Case That Almost Killed Pregnant Alina

Coronation Street spoilers and teasers have revealed that mother Fiz Stape is about to get arrested on the Street for the fire case turned arson that almost killed her ex’s new partner, Alina Pop, and her unborn child.

Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) has been fearing for her life, believing that someone on the cobbles is after her. After learning that her set of keys is missing, she’s convinced it was rival Fiz who stole it to end her life to destroy her new family with Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall).

But little did she know it was her stepdaughter Hope (Isabella Flanagan) who started the fire after being threatened by the idea that the baby in Alina’s womb will take all Tyrone’s attention.

Coronation Street Fiz Stape, Hope Stape Flee Weatherfield After Shocking Fire Revelation

With Alina oblivious to Fiz’s plans for protecting her pyromaniac child at all costs, Fiz is taking Hope away from the cobbles.

In Corrie’s August 6 double-bill installment, Fiz’s was gutted to discover Alina’s missing keys in Hope’s toy chest. Tyrone showed up when Fiz was still reeling from the shock of knowing her daughter’s crimes.

Tyrone quizzed Fiz about the set of keys, and he was more bemused to see Hope with her bags and suitcase packed. Obviously, Fiz and Hope are tempting to escape from justice, but will they succeed?

Completely torn between protecting his previous family and fighting for his new one, Tyrone ended up betraying his new partner.

After Alina told local police officer Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) she’s accusing Fiz of arson, the cop confronts Fiz to interrogate her. However, Fiz was no longer around, but Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) made an excuse for her absence.

However, spoilers have proven that Tyrone will soon regret his decision for covering up Fiz and Hope after Alina and grandmother Evelyn interrogate him about Fiz’s whereabouts.

Evelyn gets suspicious of him after calling Cilla to check on Fiz, only to find out she wasn’t there. Tyrone has to come clean to Evelyn to cover up for Hope.

But it’s a case of a little too late when Alina hears from Chesney that Cilla is away on a holiday in Cornwall.

Later next week, the pregnant woman is left feeling betrayed at seeing Evelyn and Tyrone welcoming the returning Fiz and Hope into the flat.

To everyone’s surprise, the cops come to arrest Fiz and she breaks into tears as the cop guides her into the police car. Alina tells Tyrone it is she who called the police after discovering that Fiz lied about Cilla.

And Corrie’s new video reveals the moment Tyrone confesses the awful truth to Alina. “Have you any idea how hurtful it is to know that you chose them over me? That you chose her [Fiz] over me?” Alina confronts Tyrone.

But Tyrone’s words silence Alina when he reveals: “It wasn’t Fiz I was protecting. It was Hope.”

How will Alina handle the truth? Will she tell the police about Hope?
