Despite her short stature, petite frame, and age, Geoff wants everyone to believe that Yasmeen’s a violent alcoholic. While Yasmeen’s family and friends know that’s not true, the problem is convincing the court.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that the police tell Tim Metcalfe that they know where Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) is. She’s at a psychiatric hospital, so he goes to see her. However, it doesn’t appear that she’s willing to give evidence at the trial because she fears Geoff is spying on her. So, Tim continues with his plan to testify on Yasmeen’s behalf and hopes its enough.

Even though Elaine is still terrified of Geoff, Yasmeen’s future is at risk. She could spend years in prison for attempted murder. Even though she did attack Geoff with the broken champagne bottle, she feared for her life. She is going to need all the help she can get to not spend the rest of her life behind bars.
