Coronation Street Spoilers – Different Women, Same Story

When Elaine came to the prison to visit Yasmeen, she admitted that she wasn’t from a women’s organization. She was really Geoff’s former wife and she told her story. Yasmeen was annoyed at first, but then she couldn’t believe what she was hearing. The things they went through were exactly the same. From Geoff convincing them both that they were alcoholics to the little crosses on the wall.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Elaine ran for her life and divorced Geoff. Then, she changed her name and disappeared. However, she was forced to leave behind her baby boy, who is now a grown man: Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine). During a press event, actress Paula Wilcox told the Mirror,

“… I think that for Elaine it was absolutely terrifying to have a baby in danger as well as herself in danger. What happened, in the end, was that it was basically you save yourself, because I think she had this son and he was fond of the son but not the wife. She thought the best way was to leave the baby and save herself because she thought she was in mortal danger.”

Coronation Street Spoilers – More Horror Ahead?

It is teased that Geoff will try to stop Elaine from exposing his abuse by any means necessary. If fans thought they had seen the worst of Geoff, they are sadly mistaken. There is more horror ahead. Only this time, it won’t be Yasmeen his rage will be directed at. It will be his former spouse and the woman who can destroy him: Elaine.

Can she be saved before the unthinkable happens and she disappears permanently? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this storyline develops over the next few weeks.
