Coronation Street spoilers hint that they will be coming up with new explosive storylines that will be released when the lockdown is lifted. As viewers know, Coronation Street had to stop production due to the coronavirus. However, like other British Soaps, they are still preparing for upcoming storylines and preparing the scripts, which will mean more exciting storylines to come.

Right before the lockdown was put into place, causing Coronation Street to have to stop production, it seems that they rewrote a scene in hopes of stretching out the scenes. This was revealed by the show boss that the filming was rushed in hopes that they would be able to have enough episodes to keep the show on the air for as long as they can. However, with no one knowing when the show will resume filming, the show will not know if they will run out of episodes or if they have just enough. The show is currently airing on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and will only be airing one episode a day instead of two episodes a day.

With the shows being delayed, there will be episodes that will air on different days, causing the dates not to match up. This includes the Easter Episode airing later the usual. This will not be a mistake but instead a way to manage all the episodes.

On the other hand, while the lockdown is still being enforced, Coronation Street and Emmerdale have been thinking about their actors who are unable to work as of the moment. So, they decided that they would continue to pay their actors for the next three months. This took place sixteen days after filming stopped for the two shows, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
