The publication speculated that Laura could end up blackmailing Gary and won’t go to the police. During an interview with Express, the actress explained,

“This is Laura! She comes from such a seedy background herself, and that dealings with the police are more trying to get rid of the police. And so for her, she’s underground, she’s earthy. She’d definitely be bribing Gary. I think she would bribe him, she would bribe the hell out of him, to get money.”

Could Laura blackmail Gary and take that money to buy Rover Return during a time when the Connors have no choice but to sell? We will have to keep watching to find out.
