Coronation Street Spoilers – Scott Emberton’s Job Hunt

Corrie spoilers reveal that during the week of October 12, Scott will go job hunting and ends up asking Ray for work. The two seem to come to an agreement, which means Scott will be sticking around even longer. Johnny finds out about the employment offer and takes matters into his own hands.

Coronation Street Spoilers  – Employment Sabotage

According to the Mirror, Johnny goes to talk to Ray and explains why he shouldn’t hire Scott. He reveals that the newcomer has been to prison and is a criminal. After hearing this from Johnny, Ray decides not to hire Scott after all. Not realizing that he has lost the job opportunity, Scott tells Johnny that he plans on ripping off Ray and tries roping him into participating in the crime. However, he says no to Scott and explains that his crime-spree days are over.

Later, Scott discovers why he lost the job and is seething with anger. He decides to get revenge.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Robbery Ultimatum

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Scott confronts his old pal and demands that they talk about the plan to steal from Ray. He tries to get out of it, but it becomes crystal clear that it isn’t a request… it’s a direct order. Actor Richard Hawley explained,

“Scott still has a hold over him, he’s constantly threatening to tell Johnny’s friends and family about what they did in the past… He’s absolutely stuck which brings on massive stress and attacks Johnny’s health. He tries to tell Scott that with his MS he couldn’t do it anyway.

They were young and it was a long time ago, Johnny’s changed, he’s tried to build a whole new respectable loving family so why should that be destroyed when he doesn’t want to do it.”

If Johnny refuses to do what his old connection says, then Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) will find out everything. It seems that Johnny has a serious decision to make and this has gone on long enough.

He should just tell Jenny the truth and explain that it was many years ago, that he isn’t that kind of man anymore. More than likely, Jenny will understand and Scott won’t have leverage anymore. But will Johnny be brave enough to confess or risk going to prison… or worse, facing Ray Crosby’s wrath?
