As an ambulance takes Kelly away, Asha secretly struggles with guilt.

It was previously teased by producer Iain MacLeod that the story would end up involving several different characters, both young and old. We have seen young Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) traumatized by watching Simon and Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan) beat a teenage boy before shoving him in the trunk of a vehicle. We will also see older characters, such as Ken Barlow (William Roache) try to help Simon.

Completely devastated over the end of her very brief romance, she goes into self-destruct mode. Asha decides to numb her pain with drugs, but she doesn’t do it alone… she has Kelly and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) with her.

When Asha, Summer, and Kelly decide to take the drugs they got from Simon, the unthinkable happens. Kelly ends up collapsing and she’s not waking up. An ambulance is called and she is rushed to the hospital. Will Kelly survive this medical crisis or could Simon’s new career end up taking the life of a friend?

At that same time, Simon and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) head to the police station to tell authorities what’s going on with Harvey. When an ambulance whizzes by, they find out that Kelly collapsed. Leanne decides to change the plan. Instead of going to the police, Leanne insists on dealing with Harvey herself, but could it be the last thing she does? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap to see if Kelly survives and if Asha, Summer, and Simon’s involvement is revealed or kept secret.
