Coronation Street Spoilers: Ken Evicts Steve For Imprisoning And Betraying Peter

Coronation: Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) Coronation Street spoilers reveal that in Weatherfield Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) locked up Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) to prevent him from drinking. When he returned, Peter collapsed and is now in the hospital. Doctors confirm Peter wasn’t drinking and now Steve must face Ken Barlow’s (William Roache) fury, who kicks him out of the house.

Corrie spoilers reveal that Steve saw Peter’s condition and assumed he had been drinking. After all, Peter has turned to booze since his liver failure diagnosis despite doctors warning him he’ll die. To prevent him from drinking more, Steve locked him up, thinking he was protecting him. Peter ended up collapsing and an ambulance had to be called to transport him to the hospital. Even though he’s told both Steve and Carla Connor (Alison King) that he was sober when he collapsed, they don’t believe him.

Doctors confirm that Peter is telling the truth. For once, he actually wasn’t drinking and his symptoms were due to liver failure. Steve already felt bad that Peter collapsed when he was locked up. But knowing that he really hadn’t been drinking makes Steve feel even more guilty. He’s not the only one either. Carla also feels horrible about not taking Peter at his word.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Ken Barlow’s Fury

Coronation Street spoilers from the latest issue of Inside Soap magazine reveal that Ken is furious about what happened to Peter. He lashes out at Steve about how he treated him. Then, Ken kicks Steve out of the house. What’s more is that Steve told Carla to leave with Lucas Kempton (Glen Wallace). Steve knew that would feel like a dagger in his heart. Tracy McDonald (Kate Ford) tries to do damage control, but she is powerless to calm him down. Ken wants him out immediately and it doesn’t look like anything will change his mind.

Coronation Street Spoilers – A Friend’s Betrayal

Steve goes to Peter and begs for his forgiveness. However, Peter feels like he was betrayed by someone who should have been his friend. It’s not just locking him up while he collapsed. It’s not thinking he was lying about drinking. The most hurtful part is sending Carla with Lucas. That is the same man that is trying to take Carla away from him! It’s the same man that propositioned Carla. The same one that showed up at Underworld and keeps trying to lure her away from Peter.

It is teased that Steve will try to find a way to redeem himself to both Ken and Peter. But how can he do that and is forgiveness even possible? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap to see what happens with this storyline.
