Corrie spoilers reveal that Leanne (Jane Danson) has been going through intense grief since the death of her young son, Oliver Battersby (Emmanuel and Jeremiah Cheetham). She is lying to everyone about spending the holidays in France. Instead, she’s hiding in Nick Tilsley’s (Ben Price) flat and overdoses on sleeping pills. Simon happens to find her and gets help. However, Nick doesn’t find out, at least not right away. In fact, Simon (Alex Bain) agrees to keep Leanne’s secret and covers for her when Nick stops by the flat.

According to the new issue of Inside Soap magazine, Leanne will have to pull herself out of her grief to help Simon. He gets himself in a troubling predicament and is in danger. Coronation Street Spoilers – Producer Teases Storyline

Producer Iain MacLeod talked about what we can expect with the publication. He explained that it’s a dangerous, yet exciting story and there are many people involved. It also crosses into Carla and Peter’s love story.

“Driven by grief, Simon is in a predicament that forces Leanne to put on her war paint to defend her son. It’s dangerous and exciting, drawing in Nick and Sam [Blakeman, Jude Riordan], a blast from the past for Rita [Tanner, Barbara Knox] — while colliding with Carla and Peter’s love story…”

Other spoilers for 2021 include Peter and Carla’s journey. He’s determined to die from a slow suicide, but Carla refuses to leave his side. They have both made mistakes and we will ultimately see a love story with these two. Plus, Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) will have a unique love story that ends in heartbreak. Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) will be protected from the police by her family, including Gary Windass (Mikey North). Also, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) gets what he wants, but then loses it all over again.
