Coronation Street spoilers document that Maria Connor will be left horrified to see young Liam suffer in a health scare.

Next week in the ITV soap, Sally (Sally Dynevor) continues to persuade people to join her in her campaign over parking permits on the cobbles.

Previous episodes in Corrie saw Sally in the soap’s spotlight over the parking issues on the cobbles. With an influx of cars parking outside residents’ houses and businesses, Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) first took a stand about the issue, which led to another conflict with Todd (Gareth Pierce).

But Sally was left irritated after receiving a ticket from a traffic warden. Later, it was revealed that the newcomer, Fergus (Toby Hadoke) was the one who slapped the traffic ticket on her car.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Signing A Petition

The former mayor wants to solidify a plan to change the rules about parking, so she encourages her neighbors to sign her petition. However, many residents on the cobbles, such as Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) are reluctant about her idea as the parking changes might threaten Speed Daal’s business.

But her timing is wrong when she arrives and as she collars Maria (Samia Longchambon) for being indifferent about the parking situation, Liam, who is playing, starts gasping for air.

Maria feels the weight of the parking issue when the ambulance can’t go through due to double-parked cars on the street as she’s beside herself while her son is fighting to breathe. Will Liam make it?

Learning that the paramedics can’t get through, Ronnie moves his car so that the medics can give oxygen to Liam.

Maria finds out that the lad is suffering because of asthma and is terrified to learn from the doctor that air pollution created by traffic fumes can cause the said health condition.

The child feels devastated after knowing he has to use inhalers for the rest of his life. Maria then begins her mission to get rid of the cars, including hers, causing the heavy pollution on the cobbles. Sally is delighted to have gained one supporter of her campaign.

But it looks like Maria’s mission will play out dangerously as she’s determined to get rid of Underworld’s van as a big contributor to local air pollution. Sarah is shocked by Maria’s request and later, when she continues to annoy her, Sarah insists she should stick to hairdressing.

However, Corrie’s teaser photo shows Maria holding a crowbar to smash the Underworld’s van out of anger. Is she heading for destruction?
