Coronation Street Spoilers: Newcomer Lydia To Bring Trouble To Adam And Sarah

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed there’s more to know about the newcomer Lydia (Rebecca Ryan) as she holds secrets that might put Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) and Adam Barlow’s developing marriage in tatters.

Sarah is threatened to know that her newfound bestie Lydia is Adam’s (Sam Richardson) ex. This only worsened the situation as she hasn’t come to terms with the idea that Adam had slept with numerous women in the past.

To make it up to his wife, Adam took Sarah for dinner at the Bistro and presented her a list of all the women he has slept with, excluding those he had already forgotten.

Sarah was terrified to see a double-sided list but Adam assured her he regretted his past before they got married.

Carla (Allison King) even teased Sarah as she walked in on the phone, mentioning his one-night stand with Adam.

But did Adam include Lydia on the list?

Although for now, Lydia seems harmless to their friendship, Sara will irk the newcomer with her words in upcoming episodes for Christmas.

As the Platts gather together in an attempt to celebrate the yuletide season as a family, a series of unfortunate events will create more gaps in the already distanced clan which will see everyone do a runner except Sarah.

Adam comforts his wife saying she still has him to celebrate Christmas. Later, Sarah tries to see the good in everything, and thanks Lydia for not allowing her “meaningless” relationship with Adam in the past to tarnish their sisterhood.

Lydia is left seething when she realized Adam considered their fling meaningless. Was their relationship pointless or did it end with the fruit of love?

Sarah’s delighted when Adam books a posh hotel for new year’s eve but the mood is ruined when a waiter joked that Adam left his wallet the last time he was there.

Furious Sarah realizes he brought her to the same hotel he slept with Carla. But did he also bring Lydia there during their time?

Corrie viewers reckon Lydia’s child is Adam’s long-lost son and she’s stepped on the cobbles to make an announcement.

When Lydia and Adam crossed the road, the latter looked annoyed when her ex didn’t recognize her.

“Sorry I’ve got a memory like a sieve for faces – did I handle your divorce or something?” Adam apologized.

Lydia revealed she never married and her last relationship was at a university in Edinburgh, which annoyed Sarah after realizing she meant about Adam.

The revelation was awkwardly cut when Lydia’s son appeared to remind his mom they need to go home already.

“Putting it out there. I bet Adam is the baby daddy of Sarah’s new friend,” a fan posted. With Lydia unmarried but having a son, is it where this storyline is heading?
