Last week, we saw Nick bump into his ex, Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac). She wasn’t back in the area by herself, though. She has a son now and Nick would eventually learn that the little boy belonged to him. Now, for a bit of history, Nick and Natasha were involved years ago.

When Natasha found out she was pregnant, Nick seemed disinterested. Nick saw her secretly have an abortion and Natasha lied about the baby to keep him interested. When the lies were uncovered, Natasha was sent away, but how she’s back and it is confirmed that 9-year-old Sam is in fact, Nick’s son.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Nick sent his son a letter and told him he would like to meet him. Sam ends up going over to Nick’s place and reveals that he has a passion for astronomy. Now, Leanne still doesn’t know about Sam at this point, but she’s going to find out.

Under normal circumstances, Leanne would be in a much better position to accept that Nick has a son he never knew existed. However, with her losing Oliver and Nick gaining a son, how will she react? Will she be furious, especially with the timing? Will she question Nick’s love for Oliver since he was never biologically his? Will she reject young Sam?

We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this storyline develops. But with Leanne’s emotional explosions, which are often irrational due to her grief, there is likely going to be a lot of drama.
