According to Digital Spy, Peter will hit an all-time low and his self-destruction will reach new depths. MacLeod confirmed that they are speaking with nutritionists and doctors on how to get Peter to look visually shocking as his health crumbles, but to make sure it’s done safely for the actor.

“Chris is very keen to go full method actor and fully immerse himself in Peter’s physical deterioration this time, so we’re having discussions with doctors and nutritionists over how we can best represent Peter’s fall from grace and make it as visually realistic and shocking as possible.”

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that fans are wondering why Carla Connor (Alison King) had to sleep with Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson). MacLeod explained that they were trying to show that both Peter and Carla make horrible mistakes. However, fans shouldn’t worry too much about this couple. They will overcome and end up stronger than ever before.
