When Emma is urged to confess, will she tell the truth or risk going to prison?
Coronation Street Spoiler Insights
Corrie spoilers reveal that Emma finds out from Johnny Connor (Richard Hawling) and Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) that Scott Emberton (Tom Roberts) has been arrested for the Bistro robbery. She worries about the police finding out that she accepted stolen money from the robber. However, she doesn’t go to the police to let them know because she is scared that she will end up going to prison.
Emma Brooker Questioned
Emma is advised by Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) to confess before the police find out another way. She plans on doing just that but already donated the money. She doesn’t want Oliver’s parents to get into trouble or them not having that money to pay the legal fees.
Then, Emma is caught off guard when the police start asking her questions about the money. They are really tough questions and she doesn’t tell them the truth.
Steve McDonald’s Desperate Plea
Coronation Street spoilers from Inside Soap magazine reveal that Emma will confess to Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) where the money really came from. When he finds out that it’s stolen, he knows that the police could figure it out. Another possibility is that Scott tells them that some of the money was given to Emma. In either case, it’s too risky for everyone if Emma doesn’t tell the truth. So, Steve urges her to tell the police what happened and they will go easy on her.
Will She Go To Prison?
It isn’t confirmed what Emma will decide to do. However, Emma likes to talk and she is already telling too many people about the stolen money. Steve is right, if she goes to the police and voluntarily gives them this information, then she stands a better chance of avoiding prison. However, that also means that the police will confiscate the money that was for Oliver’s legal fees.
Emma is really facing a tough dilemma, but she doesn’t want to make things even harder for Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson). If she keeps this secret and the police trace the money to Oliver’s medical and legal fund, then it could make things very difficult for Leanne. Will she confess to the truth and if so, will the police arrest her anyway?
