Coronation Street Spoilers – Who Is Scott Emberton?

Corrie spoilers reveal that Scott is an interesting character who has a dark past. His appearance sent Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) rushing off with Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) to France. More recently, we have seen that Scott seems to show an interest in Carla, but not the romantic kind. He seems protective of the barmaid and even booted the blackmailers out of The Rovers. Later, a glimpse of his knuckles showed some bloody injuries, as if he were recently involved in a violent scuffle.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Carla Connor’s Nightmare

As fans know, Carla was being threatened by two blackmailers, Jordan (James Boyland) and Chelsey (Isobella Hubbard). Apparently, Jordan took advantage of Carla during her mental health spiral last year. She also allegedly destroyed a lot of drugs and the pair want money from Carla. If she didn’t pay up, then they would expose her dark secret to everyone, including Peter.

However, Carla made a brave move by announcing what the blackmailers had on her. And she was correct when explaining that blackmailers have no power when a secret becomes public knowledge.

However, Jordan and Chelsey were later attacked.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Peter Barlow Innocent

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that fans — and Carla — assumed Peter was responsible. He was furious with the situation. He also turned the radio down when the announcer reported on the attack. However, when Carla questioned him about it, Peter was elsewhere when the assault took place. So, if it wasn’t him, then who?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Hidden Connection?

According to Metro, there is speculation that Carla and Scott might have a hidden connection. Some think that the mysterious newcomer might be Carla’s real father. It’s possible he’s related in another way, too.

There is also the possibility that Scott isn’t in town to start trouble. He told Johnny that he didn’t arrive to cause problems. Even though Johnny didn’t believe him, maybe he was telling the truth. Could he be protecting Carla as a way to make amends for whatever dark history he has that spooked Johnny so much? Could he feel some responsibility to take care of Carla since Johnny took off? We will just have to keep watching the ITV soap to find out how this story ends.
