Coronation Street Spoilers: Simon Barlow Intrudes Into Nina’s Space In An Attempt To Save Kelly

Coronation Street: Simon Barlow “Coronation Street” spoilers show Nina shaking in fear after Simon Barlow confronts her to remember the night of the attack.

Corrie viewers have seen how the bereaved girlfriend spiraled downward since the death of Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) due to a hate attack. Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) suffered from injuries but had wished she could have swapped places with Seb after learning she was the original target of the hate crime.

Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) and Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) are currently in prison charged over the attack. However, the audience knew it was Corey who instigated the bullying. Unfortunately, Nina clean forgets the details of the attack.

Nina had turned to booze and self-harming, but with the Weatherfield residents’ support, she’s coping with her loss in a healthier way. With the court trial looming in, she’s making herself distracted by the memorial garden she created for Seb.

However, the soap’s next Friday installment (August 27) will show Nina being forced to dig into her trauma as Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) begs for help to save old flame, Kelly. Will she hear his desperate plea?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Imran Habeeb Plays Dirty In Favor Of Kelly Neelan’s trial

Aside from Simon, there’s another desperate man on Kelly’s side who’s about to make a controversial move to delay her trial.

The heat is on for the solicitor Imran (Charlie de Melo) after his ex-wife Sabeen (Zora Bishop) pays him a visit only to intimidate him he doesn’t have a slim chance of acquiring Kelly’s acquittal as she stands as a barrister on Corey’s side.

Imran fears Sabeen is right and when Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) makes nasty comments on a fansite dedicated to local footballing hero Tommy Orpington after learning he is backing Corey as his witness, Imran uses it to delay the trial.

This jeopardizes the process, as Corey’s identity is exposed online when it is supposed to be legally protected.

Grief-stricken Abi (Sally Carman) is devastated to learn about the news and accuses Imran of using Jack’s mistake to his advantage, to which Imran admits. Is Kelly’s fate already decided?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Simon Barlow Turns Desperate To Secure Kelly’s Freedom

Simon pays a visit to Kelly in prison and finds out she’s convinced that she will be spending the rest of her life in prison.

Simon worries to see her terrified about the upcoming trial, knowing what Corey is capable of doing after framing her up as the real culprit.

So he did what he thinks is the only way to save Kelly from the upcoming doom and confront Nina in the cafe. Getting desperate, he begs Nina to remember what really happened that night, as she’s the only one who can clear Kelly’s name.

Uncle Roy (David Neilson) witnesses the scene and rages at Simon after seeing Nina trembling in fear. Will Simon get the help he needs?
