Meanwhile, in Speed Daal, Zeedan (Qasim Akhtar) notices the restaurant’s low income and wonders if it’s because of Stu’s bloody story. The man starts to worry that Stu might be the reason that the business will experience bankruptcy.

Later that day, Roy (David Neilson) finds Zeedan and tells him about Stu’s situation right after he witnesses the harassment his friend is experiencing in the street. With the campaign continuing, the Nazirs still find a way to prove that the formerly homeless man is innocent.

In his latest interview with Digital Spy, Bill Fellows, who plays the iconic character of Stu Carpenter in the longest-running soap, opened up about his future storylines. “It’s very hard for Stu. Luckily, Kelly (Millie Gibson) always comes to his aid and he is happy that Yasmeen (Shelley King) comes to his defense, but you have to remember that Stu was in prison for the murder of a young girl who was only 20 years old,” Fellows said.

He also mentioned that the Weatherfield residents are upset about him, thinking that their children, especially at the age of 18 to 19 years old are in danger when he is around the cobbles. His character also worries about the Speed Daal as it starts to go downhill because of his reputation.

“Stu is really shaken by it because he knows these people, his neighbors, but they are turning on him without knowing the facts. He tries to tell them he is innocent, but they don’t believe him and that is really hard for him,” the 65-year-old actor continued.

Fellows also teased more heartbreaking storylines for his character, especially that “there is no winner” in the situation he is in. He also mentioned the upcoming “twists and turns” as he continues to find ways to free himself from a bloody case.
