Coronation Street Spoilers: Tim Picks A Side – Leaves Manipulative Father Behind

ITV Coronation Street spoilers hint that Tim (Joe Duttine) may become fed up by his father’s manipulation tactics which could lead to him going off on Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew). Tim has been on the side of Geoff ever since he learned about Geoff’s near-death experience. On the other hand, Sally (Sally Dynevor) had doubts about Geoff which lead to some tension between her and Tim. However, Tim may decide to switch sides after a run-in with his father leaves a bitter taste in his mouth.

Viewers have watched as Geoff terrorized Yasmeen (Shelley King) and as he manipulated Tim. It seemed that Yasmeen has begun to see Geoff for the monster he is and it seems that Tim is soon to follow. At the moment, Tim thinks that Yasmeen has everyone fooled including his wife, Sally. However, he has had his doubts and no matter how upset he is about Sally siding with Yasmeen, he still stuck up for Sally against Geoff. Now it seems that he will finally see Geoff’s true colours himself and accept the truth.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Geoff Metcalfe True Colors are Exposed

New spoiler pictures show that Tim and Geoff will have a tense conversation with each other after another family row between the Metcalfes. Tim will learn that Geoff has been acting wickedly towards Sally recently and has dropped the good guy act. Tim starts to lose respect for his father after seeing the way he speaks to Sally. It is clear that Geoff thinks that Tim will choose him over Sally but Tim truly loves Sally and regardless of everything he will stand up for her. Tim and Sally decided to leave the situation behind for a while and go to Sally’s sister, Gina’s place. This news will not sit well with the controlling Geoff as Tim has been the only one by his side as of late.

Actor Joe Duttine, who plays Tim, told the Inside Soap, “Remember that Tim isn’t aware of what the rest of the nation knows about Geoff. Tim only reacts to the interactions he has with his dad, and he doesn’t want to believe that he could do anything wrong. Some families have to close ranks and protect their own, which is what Tim is doing. But I think Tim is starting to feel as if something isn’t quite right.”
