Fans know that Kelly Neelan will soon leave the cobbles, and her exit storyline will kick off when she realizes that people have been lying to her about what really happened to her father.

She was made to believe that Laura murdered his dad, but viewers know better. Laura took the fall even though she knew that Gary had killed Rick. She decided to confess to a crime she didn’t commit so that she could make sure that someone would take care of Kelly when she died. Coronation Street Spoilers – Kelly Neelan Finds Old Photos

In next week’s episodes, Kelly will go through Laura’s things, which were sent from Spain. She’ll find a camera with old photos. As she scans through them, she’ll come across a picture that proves Laura was on a holiday abroad. Kelly will be shocked to find out that Laura wasn’t even in the country when her dad was killed on June 17, 2019.

It’s impossible for Laura to have committed the murder. Kelly will be furious and confront Gary with the photos. Will Gary finally come clean that he’s responsible for the death of Rick?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Millie Gibson’s Exit

Coronation has confirmed that Millie Gibson will indeed be bowing out of the soap after initial reports about her exit came out last month. She’s been with the soap for three years and she’ll be leaving soon through an “explosive” storyline.

The 18-year-old actress finished filming her final scenes last month, and her friends on the soap organized a farewell bash for her.

Coronation Street producer, Iain MacLeod teased that Kelly and Gary will be involved in a showdown that will be part of the soap’s “super September” week.

“It leaves me with a heavy heart to say Kelly’s leaving the show and we thought the fact that Millie is going,” MacLeod said.

“And therefore Kelly’s going allows us to go really big and do something incredibly high stakes and to get these characters to stand on these landmines with buried for them over the years and will go off in one cataclysmic explosion,” he continued.
